Who we are:
W3 is a place where people of all nationalities meet — it is the centre for intercultural and
global development issues in Hamburg.
People working here in various projects all pursue the same goal: global justice.
What we want:
- an open and equal exchange of ideas and positions
- respectful interaction between people of all cultural, ideological and political beliefs
- active environmental protection, critical environmental policies and responsible consumer action
- critical discussion of globalisation processes
- international solidarity, the implementation of human rights and social justice
- ending and prevention of violent conflicts
What we do:
W3 facilitates a wide range of encounters, events and networks
- intercultural, development and environmental policy initiatives and associations operate under the same roof
- individuals as well as groups are supported in the process of project and event development
- the education and event programme includes:
- lectures and discussions
- readings
- concerts and parties
- film shows and theatre performances
- seminars, conferences and courses
- a comprehensive programme on education for sustainable development for schools
W3 is an an open meeting place, providing orientation and encouragement for all.
